Our professional journey begins with a mindset where we test ourselves in the market for the first time. This is the time when the world tells us our real worth and we are the ones to simply learn from it… irrespective of whether we accept or reject. My degree, ‘Master’s in Social Work’ also gave me a bridge to this testing scenario but before that I must share my learning at this juncture which has become my lifelong mate – my understanding of people! The course took us through the lives of people and various social issues, which geared me up with compassion, empathy & humanity.
I always believed that the initial days of my professional journey must have an enormous learning, exposure and money would not be a priority here. My engagements with Non-Government Organizations, their teams and selfless work raised by them for the society made me take a tour of a different world altogether, noting the need of professional practices to be set for them at the back end. Learning comes with insight and with these experiences, I was sensing a dire need of social development sector to act with professionalism and with a system based approach, which was lacking. The results in the form of change brought in the quality of lives of people was evident; however, the tremendous work built around the cause needed sustenance in terms of systems.
My journey continued with this realization from surrounding and some realization within when I asked myself – “What can I do?” The answer took me developing myself as a Trainer, Facilitator & Change-maker. Interaction with Organizations & their teams in order to build their capacities to achieve desired results not only tuned me up but also introduced me to my passion and purpose in life. “Making a difference in the lives of people” became the ‘Mantra’ of my life & ‘Training’ became the ‘Means’. My degree in Psychology and my interest in studying & understanding people fueled it up & got reflected in the form of behavioural and soft skills training programs across industries. Initially being on the rolls of different organizations, I gathered the pool of experiences and learning thereby which helped me while my entrepreneurial journey took off.
While this journey was continued, I came across an absolutely different opportunity as a new domain with completely new learning – Manufacturing! With no prior background or experience, we as a family decided to take this ‘Leap of Faith’!
An explorer in me found this new domain not only attractive but also as a learning opportunity, which I could connect with all my previous learning. This was a big step taking me ahead on the journey of serial entrepreneurship. Last 5 years, in this new domain, every single day and every new experience has given us enormous learning and now we are geared up to take a bigger leap. Today, in the mid of career, I am connected with 4 companies, one of them is Not for Profit with an intent of giving back to society, which I assume as my social responsibility. I consider myself blessed as I could convert my passion to profession and this professional journey is making my life meaningful with every passing day. The way I am challenging myself to evolve, grow and reach the next orbit is maintaining the liveliness & this pursuit of purpose is bringing in abundance which I intend to return back to the society in a form of legacy left behind after me!

Creating a Knowledge Hub was the original idea behind the birth of this network. While interacting with entrepreneurs it was evident that even they were in need of guidance & direction to equip themselves with skills & knowledge, update with emerging technologies & take specific efforts to build their public image.
Entrepreneurs have domain expertise and have capabilities to build their business but still there are so many untouched areas where they need advice and hand holding. No doubt that there are ‘n’ number of courses available however they are generic and can hardly take cognizance of personalized needs.
While launching Impower Virtual Knowledge Hub, we conceptualized it from this perspective and intend to address all those skill based needs of entrepreneurs virtually. We intend to create a platform of thinking heads with cross-learning opportunities and growing not with competition but by collaboration.
Realizing the responsibility to give back to the entrepreneurs community we belong to, we have launched a series of discussions and business insights, video interviews of unsung heroes of global economy – entrepreneurs from all fields of the industry and all corners of globe – who have a lot to share, and have a lot to learn from, in terms of their path to success, mistakes and learning from failures, achievements, support received, credits eluded & many more stories and facts which otherwise deserve to be written in golden words, only that a right platform was missing to record it.

This company has been formed with an intention to give a visibility to these artisans, bring their art for the world to see & make a small contribution towards letting the art live for ages. We are finding the right souls with a torch of sunlight and sight of an Eagle with the zeal of adding some more ages to the lives of these arts & their makers.
